As my Facebook friends know, I've been on holiday in Spain for the last few days. And, so long as posting on Facebook does not advertise to burglars that you're away which can invalidate insurance, Facebook posts are, I think, a rather better way of keeping in touch with friends and family when on holiday than a blog post. Particularly, brain is on holiday along with everything else, so nothing very deep this week!
Except went to the local Catholic church this morning, and was pondering the question, "Why do we believe what we believe?" during the sermon which was, of course, in Spanish (or Catalonian?): a blog post coming soon. And pondering the similarity between Catalonian independence on the one hand and Scottish independence on the other. On the one hand these are private issues, but on the other they affect (effect? on holiday so not going to check) many other people as well. So everybody in the UK should have a vote on Scottish independence. And the whole world should have a vote on the American president.
But enough of this. My Facebook posts have been concentrating on city scapes away from where I'm staying, which is Calella, so first of all some pictures from Calella;
More generally, the coastline round here is quite spectacular:
Oh: and I had a caricature drawn of me drawn in Barcelona:
...But no, to see that, you'll need to look me up on Facebook. Enjoy!
